I Voted Today: Vote NO to the War on Drugs

The problem with legislation is always that a few humanitarian causes and a few good bits make it in with a load of tripe. So I ask you all if you want some corn will you look to consume the turd with a piece of corn in it, or will you hold off for the corn on the cob? In politics we dive after the corn in the turd consuming the entire piece of feces.

Here in Kansas City it is election day, and there is one single piece on the ballot. This is the COMBAT tax. I woke early this morning to walk out to the polls. I cast my vote against this terrible piece of leislation.

I am against tax, but the tax here was not my concern since it was so minimal. I was opposing where the money goes. This attempts to dress itself up like a humanitarian effort when in fact it only goes to pay more prosecutors and tyrant cops. This is strictly a way to fund the War on Drugs. I am opposed to drug use, but even more so I oppose government’s War on Drugs. I oppose the government having that much say in our lives.

The COMBAT tax goes to harm people with addictions, and to take away peoples houses. It fills our streets with soldiers in Combat against the evil plant marajuana. I beg you all in the Kansas City area, please get out today while you have a chance and say “NO!” to the War on Drugs.
