Anti-War Protest at White House today

protest

The anti-war movement is protesting outside of the White House today. The President used deceptive wording in his speeches when he was campaigning.  Many believed he was Anti-War, but have come to find out that he is just another Bush when it comes down to it.  He may use a more politically correct tone when discussing, but we have not seen this fabled Change.

Just like the great Doctor Thompson said of Bush and all those before him.  This is Mr. Obama’s War.

Here is a list of news sources covering the event:

Please if you have more I would love to post them, so leave your links in the comments, send them to me via twitter @gonzotimes.  I’m not seeing anything on FOX about this yet.  Please shoot me your links.

It has been frustrating watching so many on the left flee their morals and support for the Anti-War movement.  It seems that as their guy got into office and started doing everything the last guy was doing they are just happy because it is now their guy doing it and not the Republican.  It seems more and more to me that this was about Democrats and Republicans fighting a turf war, and not about any policy,  especially not wars supported by the left & being waged in the Middle East.

What leads you to write, "Many believed he was Anti-War…"?

The comments of those I spoke to who voted for the guy. There seemed to be a belief that Democrat equaled no war. Some how the figure head was supposed to walk into that one office and everything would magically become this imagined utopia.

I don't suppose it's your fault for believing morons. He explicitly said he would continue wars and other combat actions as part of his platform. Even media whore and moron Sheehan knew this.

No, they damn well knew. They chose not to address it.

And for what it's worth, Obama isn't doing anything like, "…everything the last guy was doing." Some people may believe it's as simple as saying, "Get on the plane. Now." Having some personal experience in the mater, you ought to know better.
