A case against government Part 3: State Violence

MilitaryPoliceIt occurred to me that there may be those out there who read this site and still do not comprehend my philosophy. I think people loose me when they  argue what the role government should have.  I  ask if we should have a government.  My answer is no.  I think a good place to start is to look at is what I call State Violence.  In order to accept the existence of a state you must accept state violence.  A state has no way to force it’s will upon the people without threat of force.  In order for a state to exist it must embrace two basic forms of violation. These are theft and violence. The state exists as a parasitic entity that is destructive to both the host and itself.

I am convinced I should have started my series “A Case Against Government” with this article.  It is the heart and base of all government power and violations.

Governments create nothing.  The people or the citizens create all wealth. Wealth is not green paper.  Wealth is something tangible that has value.  It is created by labor of the citizens.  A government gains wealth by taking the produced goods of the people.  The government calls this tax or levying property.   The government enforces it’s will and desires via violence.  It uses the wealth confiscated to pay for the weapons and man power to use those weapons against citizens of it’s country and others.  A government must do so to maintain it’s power and ability to gain wealth from the labor, and production of the citizens.  It must deny individuals the right to own personal property to do so.  Governments can not give rights only take them away.

I perceive all people and rights in the way one might perceive a woman’s body.  No person has a right to enter, violate, take from or force themselves upon it without permission from the woman.  The woman may choose to give of her body to another person, but another person may not choose to take from her body as they wish without permission.  Governments do not work that way.  Governments will take what they desire.

UncleSamIf you believe that it is right to shoot, kill, rape and force ones self on others then you might have some major objections to my philosophy.  The system of the Republicrats requires this to occur in order to maintain the American Empire.

These concepts are not new.  This is how savage barbarian tribes functioned thousands of years before Christ.  The only thing that evolved was how to decide who tells the killer, rapist, or soldier what to do.  Much of that has not seen advancement in thousands of years either.  You may want to read my article about democracy (Click here) for more of that.

A state wishes to enforce morality so the state will step in and address symptoms of problems without providing cures to diseases.  A state will do so in self interest.  In doing this the state will re-victimize the victims.  Prostitution is just one of many examples.  Often women selling their bodies on the street have terrible problems.  These problems range from abuse, poverty, drug addiction, and many more.  To simply survive and meet basic needs that woman will turn to prostitution.  This in turn is criminalized.   The women are then further harmed by the state with violence and force by the state.  There is no safety for that woman. The state has ostracized these women from society, and criminalized their existence often.  These women do not need to be locked in a cell and further violated by the state. They need help.  This help will not come by the state.  If the state resolves the problem it will then have no claim to it’s supposed need or purpose in society. To eliminate problems it will essentially put itself out of business.   It will eliminate any need for it’s presence, therefore the state must fail in order to continue it’s valiant crusade to keep the rich white patriarchs safe from the oppressed powerless woman who is doing anything she can to just to survive.

The state has a monopoly on theft and violence.  If there are problems many will jump to “the answer is government”.  Politicians sell the answer to every problem. Instead of creating solutions people just assume that there is no more worry because we can look at the state now.  I do not dispute the problems of the world.  I do not dispute the need to fix what is broken.  I do say that a government will never and has never fixed those problems.  By entering into a structure of a state we enter into the basic cycle of violence.

Often the perceived need for violence is under the guise of safety.  We see with the concept of police in the United States that they are there to protect the state not the individual. Please read more about that in A case against government Part 1: Police State.  Often justice is simply a desire for revenge.  Often that revenge is never obtained and seldom does this revenge change the wrong done.  We must focus on avoiding violating one another and eliminating the animosity and violence towards each other and not look at revenge being the only option.

So I ask you.  Is there need to force one’s self and will on another?  There is not.  All problems can be handled without this.  It is only when we begin to see the flaw in this thought process that props up the violation of others that we will begin to see a real change.
