2010 is the Year of the Anarchist, or it could be, proclaimed Thomas L Knapp at the Center for a Stateless Society. It seems that Mr Knapp was more correct than he knew, because anarchism is under heavy attack from the government in the year 2010. The attacks are coming in any form you can imagine: From anti-government movements being hijacked by statist operatives on behalf of the two-party kleptocracy, to the false flag attacks that keep occurring just in time to effect court rulings, legislation and public opinion.

This all started with two towers in midtown Manhattan being summarily destroyed. A panicked populace looked to its elected leaders to find a solution to a terrorist problem they didn’t know existed until that day. A concatenation of of pre-9/11 anti-terrorism bills coalesced in congress, to form the legislation needed for a war on Americans. The USA PATRIOT ACT of 2001 was the glue to hold the ship of state together, like bad episode of Gilligan’s Island, it would not be enough to keep the ship from popping apart at the seams.

We fast forward to the very end of 2009, skipping almost a decade of war, and come to a stop at Detroit Metropolitan Airport on December 25th. Flight 253 is unloaded and the passengers are taken to a screening area. Apparently the all the hubbub is because a young black man mysteriously boarded an international flight in the Netherlands without a valid Visa or identification, with a few grams of PETN in his pants, which he attempted to detonate over Detroit. Yep, good story, but not terribly interesting until you start delving into the parts that had been missing until the FBI finally relented. The FBI admitted that a “Well dressed man” assisted Abdulmutallab board a plan in the Netherlands without any identification or other required official papers. Not only that, but the scanners that the Old Media is clamoring for – the ones that are supposed to protect us from people like Abdulmutallab – had been ordered MONTHS before the failed bombing attempt actually occurred! False flag fear-mongering, this is how they try to keep the hoi polloi addicted to the state.

Joe Stack, the chucklehead who crashed his plane into the IRS building in Austin, is also another fine example. He made sure to write and post a logorrheic screed of anti-establishment content to his formerly business related website, of which we see published phrases such as “I can only hope [...] that the American Zombies wake up and revolt: It will take nothing less” and “[...] violence not only is the answer, it is the only answer”. This open ended call to violence is incredibly repugnant to me, because not only does it equate anti-government movements with violent criminals, but it detracts from the individuals desire to question taxation for fear of being labeled an extremist. Tax is theft and the organized crime syndicate that is the US Federal Government does routinely kill people to collect, but that doesn’t mean that we should descend to their level.

Which brings me to my next point: Anarchists are for non-violence and anyone who calls for violence is a government operative, whether they know it or not. Let me elaborate; Mr Stack was aware of this, he knew that his actions would bring even more “stupid draconian restrictions” (his words) down upon the people. So what purpose can he serve? His violent actions accomplished nothing, except to label the rest of us anti-government types as violent extremist whackos. This is what the initiation of violence gets us, more government. That is why I side with Gandhi, non-violent resistance and idiotic government actions will be the route to Anarchy without disorder, without chaos. Love for our fellow human beings and their potential freedom, should drive us as anarchists.

March 5, 2010. The Times Online leads with the headline “Pentagon gunman blamed US government for September 11 attacks“. The propganda machine comes out swinging, and goes on to quote the Pentagon Protection Force Police Chief who says “[...]that they were investigating [Bedell, the attacker's] anti-government Internet postings, which also include a blog and Amazon user page where a “wish list” includes a history of Nazi Germany, an “uncensored history” of the 9/11 Commission and a book on UFOs“. It certainly looks like the statists are working over time to really lay into us and label anybody with anti-government leanings as conspiracy theorist kooks. That much is obvious with how fast they dug up all this pointless internet wanderings by a sad little attempted murderer, named John Bedell. At this point it is obvious that the government will sink to any depth to prevent widespread anti-government sentiment, the year of the anarchist indeed!

The false flags attacks and questionable incidents are coming fast, like railroad ties, driveshafts, mufflers and roadkill on the New Jersey Turnpike. The events are being spun by the media and spewed at us faster than we can react at our current speed. If we don’t step up the counter-propaganda, we will hit the asphalt face first. You don’t want to look like chiseled Spam, do you?
