Wasted Votes: GOP victory in Massachusetts, Oh My!
Jan 20, 2010 Anti-State, Current, Fear And Loathing, Gonzo, PunkJohnnyCash Blog, Senate

Brown the establishment GOP candidate won in Massachusetts. Many are excited. Prior to the election, The Tea Party group was telling the Libertarian Party candidate to drop out so that the Democrat could be defeated. I am furious. They see this as some kind of great victory. I tell you it mattered not if the GOP or the DNC took that election. The GOP brought us here. If you really see salvation in the GOP you are somehow having selective amnesia.
Is this what the tea party was all about? Preserving a patriarchy and establishment GOP resurgence? Take it! You can have it! I am not always completely behind the Minarchy promoted by the Libertarian party, but it is at least not more GOP. The only wasted vote in this country are the votes thrown on those who hold power. Support the green party, communist party, constitution party, or the socialist party before you support those who hold power. This goes out to the left and the right. No change will come from this patriarchy that has stood for over 230 years. Do not support two party duopoly. It is time we stooped serving them. I will not pay my dues to the Republicrats! I am ashamed of every one of you who spoke of “small government” and supported the system with your vote.
Many say if you don’t vote you have no right to complain. Well I say if you keep voting for these Republicrats you have no right to complain! You are like a dog returning to it’s own vomit.

Urgent Action needed to save H.R. 1207
Nov 3, 2009 Anti-State, Corporatism, Federal Reserve, Libertarianism, Police State, PunkJohnnyCash Blog, Senate
I received this in my in box from Audit The Fed .com and I thought it would be good to put this out there and pass it around so here it goes:
Urgent Action Needed
Dear Supporter of Transparency,
You and I face our biggest challenge yet.
Mel Watt (D-NC), Chairman of the Monetary Policy Subcommittee, has sided with Fed and is working to gut substantial audit provisions from HR 1207. The bill Congressman Watt has sent to the full Financial Services Committee contains no audit of the Fed’s monetary policy-making authority or transparency of the Fed’s secret agreements with foreign central banks.
Without these provisions, a so-called “audit” of the Fed would be worthless.
Big Government Corporatism In Free Market Clothing
Oct 22, 2009 Corporatism, Politics, Senate
I write this for fear of the return of Big government Republicans in 2010. Republicans are saying Free Market and doing the opposite. I fear who they will support, and I fear who will follow with their votes.
Big Government Cronies are going to preach the Free Market so they can expand Corporatism. This is the plan of the Republican party. Here in Missouri we are seeing our former Senator Jim Talent Start to change his vocabulary to get back his power and wealth at the expense of freedom. He started a website with a freedom movement friendly name Freedom Solutions, American Freedom and Enterprise Foundation. This is really just a Neo-Con attempting to present old failed Neo-Con Bush politics with a new paint job.
From 1993 to 2001 Jim Talent was in the House. In 2002 he was elected to the Senate and stayed there until 2007. The only reason the guy can claim he did not Vote for the Latest bailouts and TARP is because for that short one year period he was out. Jim Talent was one of those sloppy big government Republicans who got us here.
NFL or NBA?

During the past year…
- 36 have been accused of spousal abuse,
- 7 have been arrested for fraud,
- 19 have been accused of writing bad checks,
- 117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses,
- 3 have done time for assault,
- 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit,
- 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges,
- 8 have been arrested for shoplifting,
- 21 currently are defendants in lawsuits, and
- 84 have been arrested for drunk driving
Can you guess which organization this is? The NBA? Or the NFL?
Give up yet?
Neither. It’s the 535 members of the United States Congress, the same group that cranks out hundred of new laws each year designed to “keep the rest of us in line.”

Baucus Breaks The Economy with Health Care
Oct 8, 2009 Corporatism, Libertarianism, Politics, Senate
CBO (Congressional Budget Office) is claiming the current senate version of the health care bill in the senate titled “America’s Healthy Future Act of 2009″ will cost 829 billion and that it will somehow return 81 billion back to the deficit. Everyone is now happy, both sides can rejoice. If we spend money we will save money. Actually that is Bullshit. These numbers are based on speculative fantasy.
We all know the CBO has historically low balled the cost of any bill that is passed in congress. These speculative estimates often depict only one third of the actual price. So, let’s go easy on them and say they have only projected a half of the actual price which is historically unlikely. then we are looking at eating up that 81 billion and going into debt an additional 748 Billion. That’s not as bad as a trillion, but in reality we are looking at a more likely price that will be three times what is projected bringing it right under two and a half trillion.
A Libertarian Perspective on Capitalism A Love Story
Oct 5, 2009 Corporatism, Federal Reserve, Libertarianism, Politics, Senate
Capitalism: A Love Story is a well made film which brings up many wonderful points and injustices in our society. It approaches each of these by showing the tragedies and not really addressing root causes. It makes some wonderful arguments against many things we free market capitalists have been trying to bring to the attention of the main stream for decades, but then turns around and calls those things capitalism. It is only fair to tell you going into this that I am a libertarian minded supporter of the school of Austrian economics which makes me extremely pro-capitalist.
Moore starts the film with a rendition of Louie Louie that bashes on Capitalism and shows low quality footage of bank robberies in his attempt to paint what he calls capitalism as this violent act of force against the people. Herein lies the initial most constant flaw of the film. Speak to just about any libertarian minded capitalist and they will tell you they believe in a free market system, but one of the largest things they will oppose is committing acts 0f force or fraud. This is what Michael Moore spends the film focusing on, acts of force and fraud. Much of his argument relied on classic complaints of free market advocates, only now decades after these free market advocates spoke out against these injustices in support of a free market system Mr. Moore decides to listen to our complaints and label all of them with this vague term “Capitalism”.

Government & Phillip Morris Corporatism at it’s finest
Sep 28, 2009 Corporatism, Politics, Senate
Well, here we go. After last weeks tobacco story, (Click here to read it) I have read more that has upset me. Phillip Morris wanted to look good so they decided to go with a fresh new name that sounds appealing. Instead of being Phillip Morris the largest big tobacco corporation, they are Altria, the do-gooders who spent 3.9 million in lobbying (Click here) and co-wrote the new tobacco flavor ban. If you look at this for a minute, you begin to see who paid for this and who benefits. The largest of the “big tobacco” corporations just eliminates massive competition via legislation. The only flavor they offer is menthol which is the flavor protected under the law. I’m starting to see how this legislation helps children. We get rid of the competition. We make more money. We buy legislation to achieve this. We pay our representatives. We profit from being one of the last products on the shelves. I see how that was for the kids.
Government Knows Best: Smoking Bans
Sep 23, 2009 Corporatism, Politics, PunkJohnnyCash Blog, Senate
Despite the absence of evidence to support many claims and actions in the bill as seen here, we have gone forth with the massive control of tobacco. It is simply a massive assault on your liberties. Those out there that believe they should force others to live in the manner they wish them to live are not going to agree with anything here because they feel that the world should be re-shaped in their image. These are often the tyrants that try to use outrageous claims of children dropping dead to support their bigotry. So to those left wing bigots out there, I have little interest in your hatred and demented desire to dominate. I am not going to claim that smoking is healthy or good for you. I will say that the first time we have a child dying of second hand smoke he’ll be all over Oprah & truth.com commercials.
Here is what is going on around the web today about all this:
The FDA is practically threatening people who want to find ways around this. Click here to read The Wall Street Journal Article. It’s almost childish. Don’t do it! No! I’ll get you if you do! Mom! tell him to stop!

Dirty Old Uncle Sam is a Glutton
Sep 22, 2009 Corporatism, Current, Politics, Senate
I wanted seconds on dinner, but Dirty Old Uncle Sam who was on his thirds told me I was being greedy.
Those Right Wing conservatives can see it from time to time. Michelle Malkin put up a post about the Stimulus.
Click here to read Senate Votes To Keep Spending Millions On Stimulus Signs.
I saw some of those signs on the highway. Every time I pass them I can’t help but think of how tight things have gotten with my wallet, and how with my cutting of spending Dirty Old Uncle Sam is just turning into a bigger glutton. This “stimulus” has only made government wealthier, and grown government. If we haven’t noticed, unemployment is still on the rise. How disconnected are these fools in congress and their mindless zombie hordes?
