Corporatism and disregarding the law of the land

Lagomorph13 brought a USA Today Editorial Piece to my attention via twitter.  We see what is happening to the country with the Banks and car companies being bought and run by the government, but to call it socialism is getting little attention from those on the left.  They still seem unable to see what is going on here.  The article suggests we call it Corporatism, which seems to be an even more accurate term for what is happening.  The Cato Institute points out the thriving success of China as they move closer to a free market, and our downfall as we move further from this in an article “GM’s Nationalization and China’s Capitalists” which is a good read.  With all this said I wish to push my two cents on to these ideas and what is going on here in the U.S.

It is my desire to reach out to Republican and Democrat Statists alike to show them what it is they seem to be blinded from seeing.  Republicans have been rallying behind liberty concepts when it is convenient for their statist view.  This is seen by their support of the Tea Parties and their utter disdain for others personal liberties.  One of the most obvious examples of this is the Xenophobia and inability to understand anything outside of their little white suburban world.  This is demonstrated with their complete disregard for the Constitution, most specifically the 14th amendment with the introduction of H.R. 1868 the Birthright citizenship Act of 09.
