Punk Johnny Cash wants your help
Dec 14, 2009 Anti-State, Libertarianism, PunkJohnnyCash Blog
Many that read this are anarchist and free market individuals. I am looking to you and others. I am asking for your help for some of the basic opposition questions. What about the roads? What about crime? We have looked at the non-necessity of government and now we will start to focus on alternatives. Readers out there please post links to articles and help me delve into new ideas.
We are looking for not only free market and anarchist solutions to issues of society, but any concepts that are resolutions to any ills of society that are outside of government or that embrace self governance. I am going to write about new concepts to replace old and would love to see what is out there. Free Domain Radio has many I would like to delve into. How many of you out there can point me to ideas I may not be aware of?
We could be addressing crime, welfare, poverty, murder, war, roads or any issue that is often thought of by the masses as a job for Governments. Please leave links, and ideas in the comments. Also, do not be afraid to use the contact sheet to contact me.
Thank you all…

A case against government Part 4: The Invisible Hand Oppresses
Dec 8, 2009 A Case Against Government
Often we hear how a government is needed because the people are greedy. We hear of the evil capitalist and his crusade for himself. We hear that we must assert control over others because this greedy capitalist will look to keep his job and wealth over the welfare of others. So why not create a system where that “evil capitalist” has to pander to the people. Why not create a system that the “evil capitalist” holds no power over the individual, but where all are equal and will choose who will gain that power and wealth? Here I will discuss how the arguments of human nature are not only applicable to a free market but also to the state. A government’s interest is to keep problems not solve them.

John Stossel: Free People Create Jobs
Dec 7, 2009 video
John Stossel is often one of my favorites, if there is a media celebrity I go nuts about it is he. It is exciting to see a competent journalist who is also a fellow Libertarian. John Stossel had a huge impact on my political views, his work on 20/20 a decade ago had a huge impact on my perspective. I do not know if I would be a Libertarian if it were not for him.
The Reality of Climate Change
Dec 7, 2009 Corporatism, Politics
Climate Change seems to be under attack. I find the reactions to this interesting. There are two extremes in the political climate war. The issue is so polarizing that both sides have, through the process of reacting to one another, become extreme in an attempt to maintain a defense. We have the Rush Limbaugh supporters who want to tear the limbs off of small animals and burn down forests, and we have the Al Gore supporters who preach of the coming apocalypse with fear mongering doom and gloom. Now I realize there are many level headed individuals who lean one side or the other, but it seems the most vocal voices are the most extreme. The right is yelling Climategate, and the left is yelling crazy conservatives!
I always find the apocalyptic mindset to be kind of hard to swallow. Remember Y2K? For thousands of years the end of the world has been preached by many religions. The dead sea scrolls came from an apocalyptic sect of Judaism. On the other hand the conservative mindset tends to be limited, dismissing the turmoils and problems that others face. They tend to see their immediate world as the only reality that matters.

Fire Bernanke! Libertarians, Socialists and Liberals Unite!
Dec 4, 2009 Federal Reserve, Libertarianism
Bernie Sanders is once again on the right side. I am not a socialist and I do not agree with most any form of government, but there is a great deal of good to be said about this self proclaimed socialist. Bernie Sanders has a defined political stance and he sticks to it. He sticks to it for what he sees as the benefit of us citizens. Ben Bernanke is up for a another term as chairman of the FED, and after all he has pulled I think congress is so vile and corrupt that this man will be placed back in the FED.
Update 12/07/09
Liberty Maven put up a post here pointing out that Bernie Sanders has a petition out to get rid of Bernanke. Please check out his post and go here to sign the petition.
Update
It looks as if Republican Senators Vitter, Bunning and DeMint have all placed holds on Bernanke.

Hate, violence, murder, oppression, war, and rape are disgusting tragedies that are realities of our government. We must not be silent. We must speak out on behalf of those who have no voice and power. Look at the true nature of governments.
